Common questions

Why did my run suddenly end?

That was a meltdown. When heat reaches 100%, a ring closes in on your ship and you have one second to tap and release a nova. Lift your thumb and tap, or tap with a second finger. Lifting your thumb earlier cools the reactor before it gets that far.

My guns stopped after a nova.

That's the dark drift: for a moment after a nova you have no guns and no control while the ship coasts. Get into a safe spot before you nova.

I can't hurt the capital ship.

Its armour ignores gunfire. Destroy its gold weak points to crack the armour, then hit it with a nova.

Is the Daily Sector really the same for everyone?

Yes. Everyone gets the same sector on the same day (by UTC date) and flies the stock ship, so Hangar upgrades don't count. You can play as many times as you like. Your best run of the day is saved.

Is my progress saved if I change phones?

Your progress is stored on your device and moves with it when you restore a new iPhone from a backup. It isn't synced between devices.

How do I start over?

Delete the app and install it again. This removes all your progress and can't be undone.

There's no sound.

Redline's sound and music follow the silent switch on your iPhone. Check that it isn't set to silent.
